In our previous post, Tolak Atau Terima? What Would You Do? we discussed how accepting bribes affects the way our society’s ethics are shaped and how it can become a way of life, which is not what we want our kids to grow up with.
What are the consequences of getting caught accepting or offering bribes?
After watching this, corruption or bribery is the LAST thing you’d want to do…
Taking small steps can make a huge difference to putting an end to this. So if you ever come across such incidents happening around you, do take action because you can!
How to report a corruption case?
Report by providing the following information :
- Date, time & place of incident
- Identity of people involved & witnesses
- Amount of money/gifts/services or other matters involved
- Any other information at all that’s relevant to the case

What you gonna do for the weekend? Last week, the SAYS team worked on adding a new feature for News:Remix! That’s right! We have rolled out something that will make YOU enjoy your News:Remix experience much more!
Introducing… CHANNELS!
Now, if go to the News:Remix page on SAYS (http://says.com/my/news), you will see a list of CHANNELS at the top. Let’s go through the list of Channels now won’t we? B-)

So if you’re an Entertainment or gossip junkie like me for example, perhaps the “Music & Entertainment” Channel would be your favourite!
When you’re starting a new News:Remix you will be able to label them to the most relevant Channel after you hit ‘Publish’:

SAYS in WorldBlu’s Most Democratic Workplaces List 2012

On 10th April 2012, SAYS was among the 48 organizations that were certified by WorldBlu as Most Democratic Workplaces of 2012.
WorldBlu is an American company specializing in organizational democracy & this is their 6th annual WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces. This was SAYS’ very first year in participating and we are more than happy to be able to say that..
SAYS made into the WorldBlu’s List of Most Democratic Workplaces 2012!
Making it to the list, being first-timers, SAYS is honoured to now be alongside great organizations like Zappos, Podio & Rypple who have been on the list numerous times.
The organizations involved are from a diversity of industries including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, services and energy, with a combined annual revenue of over $17 billion. They include public, private, non-profit, and educational institutions. They range in size from five to 90,000 employees and are located in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Malaysia, Haiti, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Singapore.

Corruption and bribery these days has become such a familiar thing to everyone, that it is almost becoming ridiculous, don’t you think? There is some argument when someone says, “It’s just RM5, no big deal”. But no matter how small the amount, corruption IS ALWAYS A BIG DEAL.
Even the smallest indulgence in bribery is a sign that we’re saying YES to corruption.
What does that say about us?
Giving or accepting “small” amounts because “it’s no big deal”, sow the seeds of corruption in us little by little, and soon it becomes a way of life. We can all agree that’s not what we want. It plays a huge role in the way our society’s ethics are shaped. Is this the type of morality we want our kids to grow up with?
