    I’m pretty sure you’ve heard the buzz about the new Coca Cola Can Glass collection that has just been released in all McDonald’s outlets in Malaysia on the 28th of April 2011.



    The Coca-Cola Glass comes in six colours : pink, green, charcoal, blue, lime and purple with each colour being available each week for a six-week duration with the purchase of any large McValue Meal + Sundae. Collect all 6 glasses at McDonald’s from 28th April onwards :)

    Coca-cola glasses are definitely a collector’s item in the sense that people would be lining up every week to make sure they get every glass colour so they would have a complete set. YES! There are people who do that, in Malaysia! Some would even sell it on ebay for quite a handsome price. Believe it or not , people go crazy over Coca-cola collectibles! Look what we saw on Twitter and Facebook!

    Over the years Coca-cola has released numerous collectibles in many different countries. They are mostly usually based on particular themes, events or celebrations.

    In Malaysia, there was the 2008 Olympics, the Coca-Cola contour glasses and the 2010 FIFA World Cup edition.  Coca-cola even has an archive of all the collectibles they have ever released throughout the 125 years. You can check that out here. It’s a really interesting experience! :D

    To actually have an archive shows how valuable these collectibles are. That pretty much explains the hype about the newly released Coca-cola Can Glasses.
    So guess who doesn’t have to wait every week to line up for the glasses?  YOU! :D
