SAYS.my is a growing community of over 350,000 Malaysian social media users. We love sharing good stuff across Twitter, Facebook, and more. We also get paid to choose and share sponsored links and messages with the world.

The application is built coded with Ruby on Rails by a small team of passionate coders.

We also do our best to ensure our developers get to spend their time enjoying coding:

1. Agile Development: We use Pivotal Tracker, scrums, clear product backlogs and sprint planning.
2. Automated Testing: We use continuous integration, Cucumber, RSpec.. so you spend more time crafting your code, and spend less time checking your code.
3. People who “Get Tech”: The product manager, scrum master, and founder of the company are geeks with experience in application development. They’re there to make sure the coders get the context to enjoy what they do.

Scope of work

We’re looking for senior application developers, or young and very capable developers.

• Continuously learn and develop expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Write high-quality code and unit tests in Ruby on Rails.
• To contribute ideas of how to shape implementation of new features, systems architecture, and processes.

• Above market salary, negotiable depending on the fit of the candidate

Junior: RM2,500 ~ RM4,500
Senior RM4,500 ~ RM12,000

Job requirements

Requirements:

1. Experience and passion in developing software.
2. Strong understanding of web standards, protocols, and principles,
